Its been cold, wet and windy outside all day but we've been tucked up in the warm and dry re-lining GRP moulding that forms the lower half of the heads compartment with oak plank effect vinyl
Jane stripped out the old carpet from the deckhead and cleaned up as best she could whilst I got rid if the horrible old flooring and removed the carpet from the sides.
Then it was cut, fit, glue and trim. All day. With solvent glue in a confined space!
Its been a cramped and awkward job and its left me with a sore back and aching legs but the end result, whilst a bit of a bodge to be honest, looks a lot better than the old ratty vinyl and carpet
Next job is the main cabin carpet. That's one for tomorrow as we dined regally on tinned stew and retired early
Looks a big improvement on the grotty falling-off carpet!
